Lincoln Vista Helmet Blinks Bigger

Vista line is solar powered and boasts larger view sizes.

If you like auto-darkening technology in welding helmets, but find the "peep-hole" size of the lens on many models irritating, the Lincoln Vista line recently unveiled could be just what you're looking for.

With view sizes up to 25% larger than competitors, the three lines, 3000, 2000, and 1000, all offer auto-darkening technology with no power switch to turn on and off between jobs. Vista helmets are solar powered and require no batteries.

The new helmets boast variable shade adjustments from 9 to 13 with variable sensitivity. There's also a "grind mode" which locks the lens at the light state of 3 for grinding. In addition, there's a TIG mode to assist the helmet in detecting the arc in lower amperage welding conditions.

Lincoln Electric's new Vista line of auto-darkening helmets come in four new designs and feature up to

25% larger view sizes than competitors.

Four independent arc sensors help ensure the lens shades in any application, moving from light to dark in 1/10,000 of a second. The TIG mode detects welding arc as low as five amps.

The Vista line comes in the Patriot graphic (shown), as well as a NASCAR motif and a Heavy Metal design, along with the normal textured black.
